KNIFE SHARPENING HOUSE CALL

We now offering our knife sharpening house call service (mobile service), with the work done at your home or business.  We do not charge extra for this personal service, we just have a $100 sharpening minimum for us to come to your place. Please note... due to the outrageous gas prices, South Santa Clara County appointments NOT MADE ON A SATURDAY will incur a $30 surcharge, on top of any sharpening charges. This surcharge will not happen on a Saturday as we are already nearby at a Farmer's Market. This surcharge is subject to change as gas prices change. Appointments must be within our normal peninsula service zone between Burlingame and Saratoga, within 10 minutes from HWY 101 or HWY 280.  House calls are only done by appointment.  We do not enter your home, all exchanges are done on your porch, with safe social distancing.

We can take care of multiple customers items at one house call, as long as each lot is kept separate. All items must be paid for by the person ordering the house call, unless the other parties are present at the time of completion.

If you live in a  condo, apartment, or gated community, we will need you to obtain the property managers permission for us to be on the property with our van, prior to the actual appointment. We will need at least 10' vertical clearance for our (tall) van. Typically, if your house is not on a gated property the work is normally done while parked on the street, or in your driveway. Also, please do not schedule an appointment on the same day as a gardening or landscaping appointment, the leaf blowers and parking can be an issue.

We will also need a good number to call or text if we have any questions, or to notify you of completion.  We do require that the person ordering the service be present and available (read... not in a Zoom meeting), and that all work is paid for upon completion by cash, check or PayPal. Please note... we do not accept credit cards.
