KNIFE SHARPENING HOUSE CALL

We now offering our knife sharpening house call service (mobile service), with the work done at your home or business. on an appointment basis.  We have a $100 sharpening minimum for us to come to your place.  Appointments must be within our normal peninsula service zone between Millbrae and Sunnyvale, within 10 minutes from HWY 101 or HWY 280. Appointments beyond our normal service area may be possible with an extra mileage (fuel) charge. We do not enter your home, all exchanges are done outside. We request that you bring the items (safely) out to our van.

We can take care of multiple customers items at one house call, as long as each lot is kept separate, and clearly labelled. All items must be paid for by the person ordering the house call (must be present),  with the  only exception being a gift certificate. We do not accept 3rd party or remote payments.

If you live in a  condo, apartment, or gated community, we will need you to obtain the property managers permission for us to be on the property with our van, prior to the actual appointment. We will need at least 10' vertical clearance for our (tall) van. Typically, if your house is not on a gated property the work is normally done while parked on the street, or in your driveway. Also, we will need a flat/level place to parl pur van.

We will also need a good number to call or text if we have any questions, and to notify you of work completion.  We do require that the person ordering the service be present and available (read... not in a Zoom meeting,) and the work is paid for upon completion by cash, check or PayPal.(no credit cards). A house call takes at least 30 minutes, There will need to be an adult present to receive the completed items. Time spent waiting after the work has been completed, will be charged as an additional service.
